In the annals of Haitians naked aggression in the first degree, the cruelties promulgated by the Duvalieritz regime over its defenseless and weak people come second to the slaughter of 1700s revolution for our independence.

Were the people of Haiti seduced by Duvalier's intellect, empathy, cunning, charismatic, strength and generosity?.

Or where they hypnotized by Duvalier's relentless Syncretized
Mystical and nocturnal behavior with Baron Samedi?

Did Francois Duvalier shows them that there's another side to the coin, and they can only seen it when the get him elected as president?.

or perhaps the where psychologically imploding due to decades of subjugation by the aristocratic elites especially from the arrogant and conceited mulattoes.

apparently, it seems conceivable that Francois Duvalier was attractive to the majority of the Populace because of his proposed solutions to nearly every problem that the less fortunate was facing throughout the country.

As for the military, Francois Duvalier was just perhaps an auspicious individual to predispose as they see fit. That was an egregious mistake on their part. Because Francois Duvalier was Haiti's most astute, cunning and audacious to the core. And these are the appealing attributes of a monster dictator.

And Francois Duvalier knows too well that the military corps was a treasonous back stabbed group of ambitious elite officers.

Yet another way Francois Duvalier appealed to the mass was by promulgating the already existing frictions between the mass
and the mulattoes.

To most black Haitian, the idea of tearing down this oppressive and demoralizing state would bring them a sense of empowerment and solace.

Francois Duvalier promised a political means to do that. Duvalier père and his acolytes yes-men incessantly drilling into the skull of the mass Haitians the concept of a unification.

injecting derogatory propaganda tactics such as the "negritude movement".

As one might say, payback time sentiments was on the rise. So one can only imagine, what it feels like to born in a country of your great-grandparent, then suddenly and sadly- comprehensibly but unacceptably find yourself no longer welcome there.

What, then, shall one say or do in response to such calamity?

Duvalier père and his henchmen have traditionally had a propensity to valence and terror was about to unleash his widowmakers against the population for the next 14 years.
