Here is a picture taken during the ceremony of inauguration of the new Court of Cassation by President Michel Martelly and Ma Ying-jeou of Taiwan.

Earthquake-Proof Court of Cassation Opens. Taiwan has completely funded the rebuilding of the Court of Cassation at $15.8 MM USD. Taiwan's President Ma Ying-jeou presided over the launching ceremony.

Martelly said, ". . . with international cooperation as sustained . . . as . . . offered by Taiwan . . . we will . . . advance in rebuilding the country."

The new building is seismically improved with updated security features and will improve the rule of law, according to Martelly.
