Lascahobas School First to Receive Internet Access
Lascahobas is a Christian community, with a sprinkling of Voodoo believers, sitting on the Central Plateau. It is entering 21st century technology with broadband and wireless connectivity, powered by solar panels.
Internet connectivity is being accomplished at EFACAP school with solar power. And tech company, Inveneo, is building a wireless network to hook up six regions and 20 underserved high-density areas across Haiti.
Lascahobas eligibles are also receiving training and certification in Internet installation setups, wireless, and solar technologies.
