The Haitian Anchorwoman Elizabeth Guerin was recognized for her long career in the art. She is an actress, painter as well as an Anchorwoman.

Elizabeth Guerin started her career at the age of 8, performing in a weekly comedy for the Haitian Television, Tele Haiti. With her performance in the Haitian soap opera Roye Les Voila, she became very popular and an idol for many Haitians.

Elizabeth Guerin is currently hosting a radio show in Miami, Bonjour Haiti , with her husband Nixon St-Hubert, also called Nicky Mix and Rene Philippe. She also contributes to the television show Haitian News on NBC with Christalie Parisot

She has been in the media for close to 28 years. The last show of metropolis is to be broadcasted Saturday, July 27 and August 3, 2013, at which time, Metropolis will cease to exist on Radio Metropole,

Haiti's most popular political talk show "Ranmase is held every Saturday and involves some of the most influential members of teh Haitian society. These are usually the movers and shakers who make the news during the week.

Every Saturday, on Radio Caraibes, they react over the current events and debate Haiti's future. The show usually startes around u:00 AM; however, the time to end the program could never be evaluated. depending on the number of politicians who drop in unannounced, pro-government operatives fire off text messages defending the administration and everyone else

This is a brief history of the evolution of Radio stations in Haiti. According studies, radios arrived in in Haiti around 1960. A the time, it was introduced to the population by the missionaries who wanted the population to only listen to their selected religious stations. At the beginning, no one could change the channel. US missionaries donated the very first receivers to the Haitians hoping that they would be faithful listeners of Radio Lumiere.

Haitian newspaper Haiti Observateur reported that Haitian businessman Clifford Brandt who is currently jailed for his involvement in the kidnapping of two Moscosso children made the declaration to the U.S. authorities
