Here is a picture of Arsene Auguste, aka Pelao. What a souvenir, as we are looking at this picture, one thing that will come to mind is the time Haitian soccer that made us pride of them. The team that won the 1973 CONCACAF against all odds. As you may remember, the Championship, was held in Haiti from November 29 to December 18. The place to be at the time was Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince. The team was qualified for the 1974 FIFA World Cup that was held in West Germany

market Day is one of the most active in Haiti. This is usually the time when people from the country side come together in a specific place to sell their products. What makes it interesting is that not only they come to sell their products, they also use the money earned to buy what they need for their family for the week. These Market Days are usually taken place once a week.
Market is made popular with many Haitian artists who see it as very colorful. You will see many Haitian painters specialized in this subject

There are no major infrastructure in Beauchamp. The people are very resilient and rely on one another for economic, medical as well as social support. Dr. Hubert Deronceray, a senior member of the Convergence Democratique. Born on August 20, 1932 at Petit-Goave, Dr. Hubert Deronceray completed his primary education at Lycee Alexandre Petion. He later received a doctorate degree in Sociology at University Laval, Canada. He taught sociology at the State University of Haiti
For his political career, Dr. Hubert Deronceray was secretary of State for Education in 1972 and Minister of Social Affairs in 1978. in 1986, he created the political party Mobilization for National Development and in 2003, the Grand Center Right Front fighting. Dr. Deronceray became a Presidential candidate in the 1988 Haiti election
