One, Former President Bill Clinton helped raised millions of dollars for the country. As bothe Bill and Hillary Clinton stated Haiti was the first place they visited after their wedding in 1975.

However, the delivery of the help collected was not very successful. The brother of Hillary Clinton, Tony Rodham, as rumored to ha e been involved in insider deals in Haiti. Other criticised the family for their closeness with President Michel Martelly, whom many think did not do a good job managing the country

Despite attempts to undermine the arrangement between Haiti and Venezuela, PetroCaribe proves to be a great source of help for the country.

Beside the help in oil through PetroCaribe, President Hugo Chavez helped Haiti in the construction of its industry, agriculture and social services. The Venezuelan president also forgave Haiti's debt, estimated to be US$295 million

One of Haiti's top comedians, Kako Bourjolly with a popular show Kako's Bingo Night, is one of the most popular Haitian actors on the comedy-club scene today.

He has been performing as a comedian for the last 20 years. He founded a comedy group troupe with three other comedians and in every public presentation, they performed at sold out.

By the time he had decided to devote all his time to comedy, Kako the demand for his presence at various show was in high gear

Kako Bourjolly admitted that the secret to his success in comedy is the amount of time he devotes in preparation. As he said in an interview recently, "you cannot expect to be consistently funny unless you put the time and effort into it.

Here is a picture taken in on November 17, 2002 in Cap-Haitian. As you can see in the picture ex-Haitian Army colonel in the leopard unit Himmler Rebu with Haitian activist, political figure and leader of the Democratic Unity Convention party Evans Paul. This took place during a anti government protest. It was organized by the opposition of the Aristide government with the objective to apply more pressure on the government of Jean Bertrand Aristide. Over 15,000 anti-government demonstrators were estimated to take part in this protest.

If you think you are seing double by looking at Haitian Prime Minister Fritz Jean and Prime Minister Evans Paul you are not crazy. It is in fact just that the two Prime Ministers of Haiti side by side. Not only they are side by side, they are both Prime Ministers at the same time under the Provisional President Jocelerme Privert. As the confusion is unfolding to know which of these two individuals who has the reall authority as Prime Minister, Mr. Fritz Jean just deposited his required document at the Haitian Parliament for verification and at the same time enjoys the security and services accorded to a Prime Minister. On the other hand, Mr. Evans Paul still considers himself as Prime Minister since he did not give his official resignation as Prime Minister

the Haitian Parliament rejected the choice of Daniel-Gerard Rouzier for Prime Minister of Haiti. The lower-level Chamber of Deputies voted against Daniel-Gerard Rouzier to become prime minister of Haiti.

The deputies who voted against the nomination of Daniel-Gerard Rouzier charged him with Tax evasion and not being honest in submitting the passport he frequently travels with.

Haitian lawmakers rejected President Michel Martelly's second choice for Haiti's Prime Minister. In a vot of 16 No and 14 Yes, the haitian Senate sent President Michel Martelly back to the drowing board to come up with yet another prime Minister designee.

This is something that many people were predicting as the bloc of 16 Senators remained firm in their decision not to accept the candidacy of Bernard Gousse for Prime Minister of Haiti.

Many people now are predicting that the President only has a few choices remaining and some of the names include: Jean Henry Céant Or Jean Max Bellerive?

A wildlife reserve is in the works between the IIF (International Iguana Foundation) and the Haitian community to protect the Ricord's iguana, an animal that is considered critically endangered. With deforestation a hot topic in Haiti currently, the threatened iguanas are looked to as an aid, as they are important for the reforestation of these stripped areas. A recently discovered subpopulation was found in the Anse-a-Pitres region of Haiti, but it is considered as being very tenuous.
