Pamela White, US unfavorable to Haiti transitional government
Here is a picture of US Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Pamela White.
U.S. Ambassador to Haiti, Pamela White, states the U.S. is against an interim government. Opposition parties want to get rid of the corrupt PEC, who manipulates the electoral process to its advantage.
The U.S. argues elections must be held because it is the only way to guarantee political stability. It also says private investors are leery of provisional governments.
The U.S. has poured $25 million into elections and will donate another $5 million.
