Derrick Etienne is an 18-year old footballer, a member of the New York Red Bull Academy team. He has represented Haiti under-20 CONCACAF tournament earlier this season. Derrick is a recipient of a scholarship to the University of Virginia, which has a storied soccer program. If his name sounds familiar to you, it is because his family has a strong background in sports. Football runs in the blood of Derrick Etienne. His father Derrick Etienne (1974) and his twin brother Darrell Etienne (1974) were members of the Haitian national team, and they both represented FC Richmond. This year is certainly a memorable year for Derrick Etienne. On Saturday, March 27, 2015, Derrick donned the uniform of Red Bulls II in the team's USL debut against Seton Hall under-23 standout.
