Here is the new design of new Cathedral in Port-au-Prince that was approved in December, 2012

The new cathedral in Port-au-Prince plan was submitted by Puerto Rican architect Segundo Cardona and team and approved by a panel of six professionals at the University of Miami School of Architecture.

The Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Gabrielle Hyacinthe anounced several projects to help in cleaning up the Haitian Capital city. Ms. Gabrielle Hyacinthe told everyone that the Communal Asylum and also the Town Hall are to be relocated. There will also be a large clean up operarion in Port-au-Prince, starting June, 2012

A torrential rain killed 23 people in Haiti and the final count is expected to be much higher. According to report, residents of tent cities have been obligated to evacuate all areas of risk.
