Tico Pasket was born in Haitian family of music. Drum makes him happy.
In 1969 Claude "Tico" Pasquet joined the group Babby Jazz and later Les Difficiles de New York. He was a skilled drummer whom everyone admired.
Later, in 1972 he played with Robert Martino in Les Gypsies.
In 1975, with his brother Dadou Pasquet, they founded Magnum Band which still exists up to date.

Dadou Pasquet continues to be a musical power house and a legend in the Haitian and Antillean community. His musical talent is what most people would say is inborn. This is a skill that rans in the family. He played in the group known as Tabou Combo, Radio Superstar and Magnum Band. The new music style is very unique because it was a mixture of Haitian roots, jazz, pop and soul filled Creole music.

Magnum is celebrating its 33rd Anniversary this year. This should be considered as a great accomplishment as not too many Haitian music bands have managed to last that long in the field.
Dadou Pasquet started playing with Tropical Music band, a group that earned its own rights in the Haitian music field. He was only 13 years old at the time. As his talent in playing the guitar started spreading, Dadou soon found himself playing with some of the big names in the business like Richard Duroseau, Raymond Cicot , and Raul Guillaume.

Misty Jean, one of the most popular Haitian female singers
Misty Jean has been able to collect many awards. On February 21, she won a contest for best talent and crowned Miss West Indies. In February 2002, Misty Jean was crowned Miss de la Francophonie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Also on April 13, 2003, she was crowned as Queen of Carnival at the Greater Miami Mardi Gras.
In November 2004, Ms Jean was awarded Female Singer of The Year. and again, in November 2006, she was awarded Female Singer of the Year
