During the Pre-Duvalier time. The political environment in Haiti was very unstable and one of the leaders was the mulatto, landowner, industrialist, and Haitian Politician Louis Dejoie. The next president of Haiti was expected to be either Daniel Fignole or Louis Dejoie. Unfortunately none of the two became president.

Francois Duvalier was elected president of Haiti. After his landslide victory, Francois Duvalier exiled Dejoie's supporters and established a new constitution.

In 1942, Elie Lescot suspended the Haitian Constitution, claiming the Second World war put him in an obligation to suspend of the constitution and had the parliament give him unlimited executive powers.

Here is a picture of the guy who was accused for the Domestic violence case. Ronald (Roro) Nelson, an active member of the Haitian community of Boston was accused of assault and battery on his ex-girlfriend Marie Astrid Pantal Walsh at BMC Dorchester court in Boston on November 14, 2011.

According to declaration made by the victim, Roro Nelson beat her.

Roro Nelson was found guilty in the Dorchester Civil Court in Boston, Massachusetts by a jury of 12 and his conviction carried a one year probation.
