Hollywood actor and supporter of Haiti, Sean Penn is hoping to capitalize on the popularity of Instagram, an internet photo and video sharing phenomenon that, following its start in October of 2010, racked up 100 million photographs by July of 2011. His hope is to bevy up new interest in his J/P Haiti Relief Organization. The effort, which had its start almost immediately after the 2010 earthquake, has re-housed a majority of those who lost their homes.

Happy with the result of his efforts to get United States' pop star Madonna on to Haitian shores, Sean Penn shared the news recently that she was in the embattled Caribbean country for a visit with her son, Rocco. Using her time here as a vehicle to drive awareness to the plight faced by those Haitians still suffering the effects of the earthquake that devastated the country in 2010, Madonna has already begun an Instagram campaign that should raise much awareness.

Hollywood super-babe Pamela Anderson will show in November, at the New York City Marathon, that the race is not for the swift, but for those with the biggest will to give. The sex icon and former Baywatch actress will put on her running shoes in the hope of raising money to fund Sean Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization to the tune of at least half a million dollars. Currently in training mode, Anderson has taken to the internet super-information highway of Twitter and Facebook to promote her run and raise awareness of the cause.

François C. Antoine Simon was the Haitian President from December 6, 1908 to August 3, 1911. He led a rebellion against his predecessor Pierre Nord Alexis to succeed him as President. He was born in a town called Savane near Les Cayes.

François C. Antoine Simon started his career as a municipal police officer. Thereafter he joined army as an officer. There he was promoted to the post of Troop Commander in 1883 and Colonel in 1887. He became the aide-de-camp of the President Tirésias Simon Sam between 1886 and 1902 and was lastly promoted to General.

As a General François C. Antoine Simon revolted against Pierre Nord Alexis and became the President of Haiti. President Simon had very little formal education but through a six member cabinet committee he had planned and introduced many beneficial reforms for the development and rebuilding of Haiti.

lawyer André Michel was arrested on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 on the road of Martissant by the National Police. this will likely cause revolt and demonstration from many sectors of the Haitian population, in particular members of the opposition. André Michel is a Human Rights Lawyer, who filed the corruption complaint against First Lady Sophia Martelly and her son Olivier

According to the report, the Human Rights Lawyer, police struggled to take Andre Michel from his car. André Michel requested the presence of his attorney which was not accorded. Many supporters were present during the arrest and started protesting by chanting against the Martelly administration.

Here is a picture of the Haitian PresidenFrancois C. Antoine Simon. He was born on 10 October 1843 in the city of Les Cayes in the South. The date of his death is not certain; however he died either on 10 January or 10 March 1923 in Les Cayes.

Antoine Simon was originally from the town of Savane. He was a police officer and then went to the Haitian army as an officer.

According to a news release, minister Louis Farrakhan will be in Haiti this Month. The dates are from December 11th to the 15th.
The black religious and social leader Farrakhan has been in Haiti and this will constitute his first. He wants to have a constructive dialogue with all religious authorities of the country.

Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr. was born on May 11, 1933. He is the leader of the African-American religious movement the Nation of Islam (NOI).

Law Professor Osner Fevry recently declared that the Prime Minister Garry Conille is the person responsible for the political crisis following the arrest of Arnel Belizaire.

Professor went as far as saying that it is a case of either of incompetence or involvement. Professor Fevry stated that as Head of government, Garry Conille should have been in control and sholb be the one responsible for his staff.

Arnel belizaire a sitting member of Haitian parliament who was arrested illegally by members of Martelly's government.

According to information received, Movie actor Sean Penn was spotted with Haitian actress Garcelle Beauvais having dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.

The report described the meeting to be some what intimate. They met to discuss relief efforts to Haiti.

Sean Penn is single after his divorce from Robin Wright. He has been involved in work dealing with earthquake recovery in Haiti
