market Day is one of the most active in Haiti. This is usually the time when people from the country side come together in a specific place to sell their products. What makes it interesting is that not only they come to sell their products, they also use the money earned to buy what they need for their family for the week. These Market Days are usually taken place once a week.

Market is made popular with many Haitian artists who see it as very colorful. You will see many Haitian painters specialized in this subject

Here is a picture of a home in Beauchamp located on the hill side. With little to no help from their government, the people of the town of Beauchamp are trying to make a living. There are no major infrastructure in Beauchamp. The people are very resilient and rely on one another for economic, medical as well as social support. Many people in the region are both Christians practice voodoo

With a country that has been hit with all kind of disaster, Natural or man made, we are still able to find nature at its best, with an area still protected. The geographical coordinates of the town of Beauchamp are 19° 45' 0" North, 73° 1' 0". As you can see, this is one of the few towns in Haiti not located on the coast. However, this does not take away its charm. The people in Beauchamp are very friendly and welcoming
