President Joseph Michel Martelly participated in the Inauguration of the new marche in carrefour-Feuilles in Port-au-Prince.
Marche Savane Pistache is located in the center of Port-au-prince and has been built to deal with the ungoing problem of Jobs in Haiti.

A new concept in creating jobs in Haiti. Since the 2010 earthquake, there is a project called Cash for Work that has been established to give something to the people affected by the earthquake something to do as well as to provide some financial support. Many of the projects involve the removal of earthquake rubbles. The Cash for Work Project has been focused on Haitian women as some of these projects are managed by women organizations in Haiti

Haiti Means Business - New Economic development campaign

The Haitian president Michel Martelly is trying to lunch his new campaign "Haiti Means Business" in an attempt to get Haiti to move forward economically. He will be in Miami to June 25, 2011 to meet with the Haitian Diaspora whom he believes should be an integral part for the economic development of the country. Since his inauguration as the new President of Haiti, Michel Martelly has visited Miami on several occasions. However, this is the first time he will be in the city on an official capacity to promote his new economic campaign Haiti Means Business.

Michel Martelly will be meeting with the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami, the Former Miami Heat Great Tim Hardaway, Chazz Woodson, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime, Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness, North Miami Mayor Andre Pierre & the City Council.

Reginald Boulos distributed arms to Haiti national police to create Private Army

According to WikiLeaks Haiti, Haitian business organizations and members of the country's elite used the Haitian police as their own private army after the 2004 coup D'Etat that ousted President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

This was based on secret US Embassy cable. It reported that Fritz Mevs told the Embassy that the president of the Haitian Chamber of Commerce, Reginald Boulos, had distributed arms to Haiti national police and had called on others to do so in order to provide cover to his own actions.
