Also closed were the Haitian American Sugar Company (HASCO), the Usine Sucriere des Cayes (USC)
With the closing of there major sugar refineries in the country, Haiti is no longer a sugar producing country anymore.
This is a picture of the historic building in Cap-Haitian where the University of Roi Henri Christophe is located. The facility is located in the center of the town and at one point it was the location for Unionclub in Cap-Haitian. The University of Roi Henri Christophe will be moved soon to a new $50 million dollars building in the city of Limonade, thank to the President of The Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernández,The visit of President Michel Martelly in the Citiy of Limonade in the North of the country to visit University Roi Henri Christophe is in support of this new and exciting project that will continue to promote free education in Haiti
