Miss Haiti Universe

The 4th Edition of Miss Haiti 2016. On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Hotel Royal Oasis, the Miss Haiti Committee launched the 4th edition of Miss Haiti 2016 and announced their guidelines for registration. The registrations for the Miss Haiti 2016 competition will remain open from May 11 to July 2, 2016 in four Haitian cities (four regions): Port-au-Prince, Cap Haitien, Les Cayes and Jacmel and on the internet (misshaitiorg.com) for young Haitians living abroad. The applicants must be aged between 18 to 26 years, unmarried, without children. Every applicant must have a valid passport, completed their Baccalauréat 2, a certificate of good conduct and a parental consent if the aspiring candidate is a minor at the time of registration. Registration fees 2,500 gourdes (2,000 Gourdes for students). In the first round, 20 candidates will be short listed. Following a shooting test, 15 of them will have the opportunity for grooming and pre-qualifier broadcasts; 10 finalists will be selected for the final. There will be two finals to decide winners from three categories: Miss World Haiti (13 August), the second to choose the Miss Haiti Universe and Miss Haiti International (August 27).
