It has been reported that the Dominican President Danilo Medina has made some threats as a result of the decision of the Haitian government to ban the import of Dominican chickens and eggs to avoid the propagation of H5N2, or bird flu. Medina said that he would take "drastic measures" to resolve the issue of the ban on Dominican chickens and eggs by the Haitian government.
