This is one of the most vivid reminder of the the catastrophic earthquake that killed over 300,000 people in Haiti. Titayen is the location where most of the earthquake victims were buried. Titayen is located north of port-au-Prince, about eight km from the city of Cabaret. The site was chosen to as mass grave for the victims of the earthquake.

The ongoing crisis for the CSPJ to select three representatives for the CEP continues. The problem is three new members were selected and before they were able to leave their position, three new members have been selected.

Previous members such as Salnave Exantus and Yves Benoit Jean-Marie said they were committed by the institution which appointed them and are immovable under the Constitution.
