On October 14, 2010, in a ceremony at the Government House, Nassau, the Bahamas welcomed His Excellency Antonio Rodrigue as the second Resident Ambassador from the Republic of Haiti. Ambassador Rodrigue replaced Ambassador Louis Harold Joseph, who had served the post for previous eight years. H.E Antonio Rodrigue continued his responsibility till August 13, 2015. In a farewell reception at the Luciano's restaurant in New Providence, the Hon. Philip E. "Brave" Davis, Q.C., M.P. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Public Works & Urban Development, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, appreciated his role played in promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially on promotion and protection on investments and technical cooperation in agriculture and fisheries. He will assume new responsibility as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium.
