Bassin Zim is located on the East of Hinche, a 20 m waterfall. Many believe that there is great tourist potential for the region. However, all these have not been fully exploited for the benefits of the residents of Hinche. The government is encouraged to develop a plan to make the region more accessible to tourist.

Bassin Zim is filled with stories and legends. To several believers, these are site of mystique that provide benefits to pure souls. The site special attraction and it is a matter of time before we are able to invite other to see the beauty it offers. Bassin Zim is yet another reason why the country is known for wonderful and enchanting environment.
Road to Bassin Zim
One of the reasons that caused the region not to be accessible to the rest of the country was the road condition. We can actually give credit to the government of Michel Martelly for his initiative to build many roads in the region of Hinche. However in regard to access to Bassin Zim, this still pauses a problem. It is difficult to access the Bassin Zim. The government needs to continue with its effort to build roads to make the region more accessible
