It is not easy for the people to get in the main land of Haiti unless they use their Bois Fouye or one of the few small boats available.

The people in the Island of Boman have managed to develop their own way of life. They survive mainly on seafood. They use canoes made by way of logs that they use for their fishing activities. All these people have are the sun and the sea

Other than the residents who live in the island of Boman, there are nothing else. It is deprived from most of the basic necessities, including running water and sanitation system. There is no communication system there, no churches, schools or clinics to serve the population
The fishermen are living on a day to day. They don't have any kind of refrigeration system for the fish they caught

Welcome to the Isle of Boman in Haiti. This small fishing island is located in Petite Riviere De Nippes in Haiti. The total population is no more than 500 people, comprising of about 200 fishermen living with their families. The living condition in Boman is hard for the resedents.
