Ralph Victor Gilles is an American-Canadian automobile designer and the present President of the SRT Brand and Senior Vice President of Design at Chrysler Group LLC for Jeep/Truck Color & Trim and Specialty Vehicles. He was born on 14 January 1970 to Haitian immigrant parents. As an automotive enthusiast, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit. Thereafter, he pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Michigan State. He used to teach at The School of Industrial Design at CCS between 2003 to 2005, and now serves as a member on its Advisory Board. Gilles became experienced in Chrysler by serving various designing roles since he joined the company in 1992. After the retirement of experienced Chrysler designer Trevor Creed, he became the Vice President of Design on 1 September 2014. He is now responsible for all the designing activities of Chrysler. Under his leadership, the company is pursuing for a more sensual look for its forthcoming products.

Here is the picture of a car being damaged during a violent demonstration in Haiti.

Amidst the pandemonium of the protest that degenerated into stone-throwing, the property damage caused has yet to be estimated. The crowd followed a cavalcade of the government's as they moved through the towns of Port-au-Prince on October 26, 2014. Soon, the stone throwing began and the security forces retaliated with bullets and tear gas. Valuable property including a car window were apparently damaged in the melee, though the true extent of the damage is, as yet, untallied.

Bus Accident in Morne Tapion, 23 people dead and 37 wounded

One of the most terrible car accident took place today in Haiti. A bus overturned in Morne Tapion, near the town of Petit Goave in Haiti, killing at least 23 people.

It has been reported that the accident happened as a result of break problem with the car. The bus was traveling from the town of Chamberlain to Port-au-Prince, carrying several passengers.

Prime Minister Lamothe got a sneak peek at Google's new self-driving vehicle during his visit to the company. Google plans to roll out a fleet of self-automated (SA) vehicles as soon as drive-testing is completed. With hundreds of thousands of miles driven, no malfunctions have occurred.

Tesla and Nissan also have plans to release SA vehicles. Tesla wants to design an auto that will perform 90% of driving tasks; Nissan wants to offer affordable SA vehicles to consumers by 2020.

Presentation of the first Bus prototype Made in Haiti

Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the presence of several members presented the first Haitian bus made by a young Haitian, Jean-Paul Coutard. The bus was baptized as "The Haitian pride". It took Coutard five years to study and two years to build this bus with doubled chassis 300-hp diesel engine, four exits, rear view camera, custom lamps, sound system, television, 54 reclining comfortable seats and sanitary facilities. The minister affirmed Government Martelly-Lamothe's support to Coutard's future projects. A land will be allotted to Coutard in cooperation with the Haitian government; furthermore, the government will assist him for necessary foreign training.
