Here is a photo of the super singer of the Caribbean, Edith Lefel. Many people suspected that she knew that her death was coming and that she was comfortable with it. According to record producer Harry Diboula who was a very close friend of Edith Lefel, she knew that she was dying. Harry Diboula revealed in an interview that Edith Lefel had sung Mon ange on her last album, to present death as a natural event not to be feared.

Here is a picture of Edith Lefel, the Caribbean's Soul Queen. She was with for just a few years however she has made such a difference in our lives that many could not imagine. Edith Lefel was born in Cayenne, French Guyana and died in a young age in Dreux, France. As a singer, she appreciated many types of music, including folk, rock, salsa, jazz, and zouk.

Well after her death, Edith Lefel remains the darling of the Caribbean and a voice for the Caribbean music. She died suddenly at age 39, from a heart attack.
The last three music albums that Edith Lefel released before her death include: A fleur de peau, The Best of Edith Lefel, and Si seulement. Her death came to the surprise of many and the French-speaking diaspora in particula. The sentiments were felt all over the world. It generated an outpouring of cards and letters, expressing grief at the passing of such an extraordinary talent.

Here is a picture of Jocelyne Labylle who received a music Awards in 1998 for Best Caribbean album. This Zouk artist is a pleasure just to hear hher singing. I would say in all honesty tha Jocelyne Labylle has the most beautiful voice in all the Caribbean islands.

Her lyrics depict everyday stories. Her voice, once you hear it tends to stay with you forever.
