He has been performing as a comedian for the last 20 years. He founded a comedy group troupe with three other comedians and in every public presentation, they performed at sold out.

Kako Bourjolly admitted that the secret to his success in comedy is the amount of time he devotes in preparation. As he said in an interview recently, "you cannot expect to be consistently funny unless you put the time and effort into it.

Mackenson Louis, the Haitian-American comedian/actor/writer migrated to the United States when he was just 8 years old. His surroundings and upbringing were the perfect breeding ground for his talent on comedy and writing. Mackenson Louis is the Owner and CEO of the fastest growing entertainment corporation "I'm Macken'Son Entertainment" founded in 2012. IME is currently shooting "Comedy Joy Ride"--a stylish, witty diverse comedy sketch with energy of Saturday Night Live. This sketch/standup comedy tour and television pilot will appear on October 10 at the Kinanm Lounge (856 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn). He will bring his Stand up to Stage 72 (formerly known as The Triad Theater) in Manhattan beginning on Sunday, October 12th at 7:00 pm. Admission is $10.00 for each performance. Wil Sylvince, a Haitian-American comedian, launched his career with hilarious tales of teenage angst, using frenetic gestures and facial expressions to provoke laughs.

His comic hero, Richard Pryor, inspired Sylvince to use Haitian family life as comic fodder. He connected with audiences on a universal level, his growing popularity leading to Comedy Cellar gigs, and tours with Damon Wayans.

He is now preparing a script for filming about a Haitian man in America, who dreams of becoming a fighter.

Many true geniuses in any field go about creating masterpieces outside the notice of the public. The same can said to be true for the seriously underrated comedic talent that is Maxime Clerge. Also known as Pe Maximo, Clerge is most recognized for his stand up comedy show in which he performs as various politicians from Haiti's past, including Emmanuel Charlemagne and President Jean Bertrand Aristide, equipped with impressive, mostly uncanny voice impressions that leave the crowd in stitches.

Foyer Maurice Sixto is a school named after the famous sociologist Maurice Sixto where the school runs with a motto "all children are children and they have same and equal right. The school is located 30 miles west of Port-au-Prince in Carrefour, Haiti. It was founded in 1989 and invites "restavek children". "Restavek" are the children mainly come from the countryside families who cannot support their children send them to live in well off families in the towns who promise to offer them better lives and education in a city center but the children are often mistreated, forced to do manual labor, cooking, cleaning, and other household chores. The restavek children live here in an family environment. They are offered free food, education and professional training.

Maurice Alfrédo Sixto is affectionately called Moy. He was born in Gonaives, Haiti on 23 May 1919. He is unquestionably the biggest name in Haitian literature with many other interchangeable characters like, sociologist, storyteller, revolutionary, humorist and moralist. His literary talent is often compared with other world classes such as Shakespeare, Moliere, Bill Cosby, Achebe, Dostoevsky and Victor Hugo.

American comedian Ben Stiller, who has been working in Haiti since 2010 to promote education and to build schools through The Stiller Foundation, gave a new direction to Haitian cinema. He merged his film making interest with his interest in promoting education and joined forces with Ciné Institute. Ciné Institute is the only film making school in Haiti. Stiller joined the Institute and discussed why film making education is vital. He pointed out that films do not only create job opportunities but they also help people to express their emotions and to tell their stories to the world. Ben Stiller discussed this after he took the stage at Jacob Burns Film Center.

His popularity started in the 1980s when he starred in the popular comedy series "La Vie Nan Bouk La". This series was loved by many and displayed the high talent of the actor Jean-Claude Joseph as well as many who performed in the show.

From the series, Papa Pye, AKA Jean-Claude Joseph moved onto a successful film career. He starred in over 20 movies. He is a train karate instructor, having achieved his black belt.

Born in Cap-Haitien, Fernel Valcourt is Haitian comedian known under the name of "Jesifra".

He started on stage in the performing arts at an early age and soon his talent captured the national audience. He was a great influence to the actual superstar in Haitian comedy, Tonton Bicha.
His popularity is high in Haiti as well in the Haitian Diaspora all over the world. Fernel Valcourt AKA Jesifra uses his comedy figure Jesifra to take jabs at current as well as previous Haitian authority figures.
