The legacy of Nemour Jean-Baptiste. W ber, after leaving Conjuncto International, had developed his own dance music that resembled Comp's in many respects. The feud between Nemour and W ber eventually made its way into the two musicians songs, in which they dissed one another.

Kompas is a basic form of musical entertainment that has become very common in the Caribbean. In the recent years the Kompa genre has gained tremendous popularity as a result of a growing band known as the Carimi band.

They had a common perspective and passion towards music and this formed the basis of a successful start of the Carimi band. The name Carimi comes from the first letters of their three names. In the year 2011, they released their first single song which is known as Ayiti Bang, Bang. This song was based on the situation in their homeland at that moment and as result it became a huge hit in Haiti because felt that the Carimi band identified with their needs as well as situation.
