Here is a picture of Mr. Jean Renel Senatus, AKA Zokiki, Candidate for Family Values

Jean Senatus, running for the senate, proposes he will introduce bills in Parliament to start youth programs; reclaim support checks for widows of dead police officers; support the education of children of slain police officers; and support their spouses until they remarry.

He wants an end to tax increases, and proposes to increase fines for citizens' police abuse. His position on abortion is pro-life (exceptions being rape victims, a malformed fetus, or risk to the mother's life).

Haitian Family

There are not very clear-cut roles within Haitian society where gender is concerned as, while men are conventionally the ones in charge of being the breadwinners, Haitian women work too and can often be found as the main financial support of their families. Still, while women work outside of the home, they are, all the same, expected to take on the traditional female roles of housekeeper, cook and child-minder. A large percentage of low-income Haitian families are of the common-law variety.

Haitian family

Haitian families generally consist of two parents who taken on the stereotypical gender roles, but some Haitian households are single parent; this compels the women to do domestic tasks as well as and support the family financially. Domestic abuse rates in Haiti are among some of the highest in the region. Most Haitians are married under common law and not by traditional ceremony. Regardless of these facts family is of upmost importance in Haiti even if a member of the family immigrates.
