He was born born in 1975 and suffers major damage to the C4 and C5 bones of his vertebrae. A bullet, fired by a gunman who also took the life of his step-father caused his current condition
Joel got married at the age of 21 and currently has two children with his wife: Noah and Lucas

He studied at the Institute Saint Louis de Gonzague in Port-au-Prince, then went to France to study culinary arts and hospitality management. He is now living in his beloved home, Haiti

This is something that many supporters of the Martelly regime would want you to believe. They thing that all these recent demonstrations in the streets or positions taken by some prominent leaders have something to do with the Lavalas regime.

Some as a matter of fact even accused the Lavalas leader of paying some Senators or Deputies for manifesting publicly against the current government

Here is a picture of Lunise Morse is the lead singer of the group RAM.

On May 25, 2013 she became the official candidate for the Senatorial race under the Fanmi lavalas Banner

This announcement brought an end to the rumors that have been circulating in all social network recently. Richard Morse, current husband of Lunise Moise recently accused the government of Michel Martelly for corruption.

Lunise Morse is a singer for the musical group RAM. Her candidacy for the Senate seat under the Lavalas Banner was made public on Mother's day at the Aristide Foundation for Democracy.

Here is a picture of Dr. Maryse Narcisse, Coordinator of Fanmi Lavalas

A medical doctor and long-time advocate for democracy in Haiti, Dr. Maryse Narcisse was a member of the Cabinet of President Jean Bertrand Aristide. She was responsible for social issues and public health issues. At one point, Dr. Narciste was actively involved in national immunization campaign in Haiti. Dr. Maryse Narcisse at one point was the victim of a kidnapping. She has been member of the National Commission of the Fanmi Lavalas Party

Here is a picture of the Haitian activist Rene Civil. He is a member of Fanmi Lavalas and a former leader of the group Jeunesse Pouvoir Populaire or JPP.

The JPP group was very popular and active at one point in time. The people in charge provided financial support to encourage the youth to pursue their studies in school or learn a trade.

They were also very strong supprter of the Lavalas an President Jean-Bertrand Aristide

, and set up centers where young people could get a hot meal and political education.
