Have you been to Big Night? They have presented over 500 concerts, events and festivals by famous and innovative artists from different parts of the world. The events of 'Big Night in Little Haiti' are presented with the major support of a Miami-based philanthropic organization John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

We are here to promote local Haitian writers to a wider audience. This facility also organizes Big Night, a popular event in Little Haiti. The concept of 'Big Night in Little Haiti' was first originated in the minds of James and Laura Quinlan of the famed Rhythm Foundation. Practically, the idea came to their minds after producing a benefit concert following the 2010′s devastating earthquake. Rhythm Foundation is one of Miami's best cultural institutions that brings world's best musical acts in Miami.

The Haitian Cultural Center provides children's activities, artists, arts and crafts from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The admission is free. There is a free secured parking place at the Little Haiti Cultural Center, 212 NE 59 Terrace. Food vendors from local eatery Leela's Restaurant serves griot and fried fish which is another draw of the event.

This was held at the same location where Big Night in Little Haiti (BNLH) is held. It is a monthly event that is celebrated on the third Friday of the month since March 2011. If you by any chance pass through the Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami's Little Haiti and that happens to be the third Friday evening of a month, there is enough chance that you may hear some of the genre's greatest konpa music band is performing. This lively monthly party in Miami's Little Haiti showcases top Haitian musical talents and that happens on a spacious, open-air courtyard of the Little Haiti Cultural Center.
