This is a sign that demonstrates that boys will always be boys. The Haitian parliament turned into a boxing range in July 2013 when several Haitian Deputies decided that action is worth more than talking. As you can see in a video, the Haitian deputies forgot all decencies and civility when they decide to at each other in a physical manner.

Is this what we want our children to see. Even more, do we want that as a role model for our children.

We need to pray for Haiti

Here is a picture of the new pre-fabricated homes where the new Haitian parliament will be located until a more permanent one will be built. Edmond Mulet handed pre-fabricated Temporary Haitian Parliament Building to Kelly Bastien.

The pre-fabricated Haitian parliament offers much more comforts to the Haitian law makers. The houses are air-conditioned and provide adequate space to conduct the businesses of the country

Deputy Arnel Belizaire caused panic in a legislative session in Haiti.
In a session in the Haitian Parliament, that took place in March, 2013, the members realized that they presented a document to vote on. However, the document presented was different than the one the discussion was about. It was regarding the law sanctioning money laundering and terrorist financing which was already voted the Haitian Senate.

Deputy Fritz Gerald Bourjolly uncontrollable During Finance Committee

During a Finance Committee on July 17, 2013, Deputy Fritz Gerald Bourjolly of Aquin was unable to manage his anger. As a consequence, he started throwing microphones, glasses, desks and anything he could find just to express his frustration. He actually followed the footsteps of yet another famous Haitian Deputy. Deputy Arnel Belizaire also exploded at the Haitian Parliament during a meetin, throwing a total of three desks across the room in a similar incident.

Arnel Belizaire, from Jail to become Haiti Deputy

Some people would say it can only happen in Haiti. Deputy Arnel Bélizaire was taken to jail upon arrival from a visit in France. He was accused for setting fire in a prison and consequently escaped following the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

On the other hand, others are suspecting that the arrest has to do with an altercation that took place recently between president Michel Martelly and Deputy Arnel Bélizaire.

So far, the only thing we dan do is to follow the development of this issue

Here is a sad picture. A member of the legislative branch of government in Haiti is getting on his knees to praise the executive branch of government. The current Deputy of Ouanaminthe, Luckner Noel, is so appreciative of the action of President Michel Martelly has decided to get on his knees in front of the president to thank him.

This spectacle was done in front of several thousands of supporters of the president present.

Many members of the Haitian Parliament who were present at the event or watched it on radio were shocked and think that Deputy Luckner Noel did not behave properly

Alexandre Lerouge from Cap-Haitian, won a seat as a legislator

and challenged the government of Jean-Claude Duvalier

Alexandre Lerouge was supposed to run against Claude Vixamar, a former Prefect and one of the most popular personality in Cap-Haitian at the time.

Story would reveal that it was not the intention of Vixamar to run against Alexandre Lerouge. It was an order that came all the way from the first Lady, Simone Duvalier
