many people complained about the size of each home build which is appears to be small. The government argument is that the government is only looking to provide the basic for these people. Ith home is equiped with a kitchen, bathroom. the area has its own water system

Here is a picture of a home in Beauchamp located on the hill side. With little to no help from their government, the people of the town of Beauchamp are trying to make a living. There are no major infrastructure in Beauchamp. The people are very resilient and rely on one another for economic, medical as well as social support. Many people in the region are both Christians practice voodoo

This is the view in Port-au-Prince, one of Haiti's biggest shantytowns,called jalousie. It is a large number pf homes located on a mountainside in the nation's capital. Currently, there is a project to paint them

Many people were employed to start painting the concrete facades of buildings in Jalousie slum in a rainbow of purple, peach, lime and cream. This idea was taken from the famous Haitian artist and Haitian painter Prefete Duffaut in his famous work "cities-in-the-skies".

This project is to cost the government $1.4 million
