Eustache St Lot, former director of BMPAD in custody

May 27, 2016, Eustache St Lot, former director of BMPAD kept in custody by the prosecutor of Port-au-Prince to face with the former minister Wilson Laleau.

Mr. Eustache Saint-Lot, the former General Manager of BMPAD (Monetization Office of Development Assistance Programmes), was held in custody along with his lawyer Patrick Maitre Lawrence by the Commissioner of Port-au-Prince Parquet, since Friday, May 27 till June 3, 2016. They were kept under an order of the Director of the Public Prosecution at a police station in the capital, awaiting the arrival of the former Minister of Economy and Finance, Wilson Laleau who is traveling abroad. However, they were released later on a bail of 100 million gourdes. Wilson Laleau spent five years in the Martelly administration as the Minister of Trade and Finance. He has been also summoned by the new Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince. Mr. Jean Danton Léger. As per opinion of the new Government Commissioner Léger, Mr. Eustache Saint-Lot and former Minister Wilson Laleau had given contradictory statements against each other in separate hearings in regard to the management of PetroCaribe fund amounting to $1.5 million. The Commissioner wants to question and hear these two men together in the same place and at the same time "to get the truth out of the bottom of the well."

TOUT MOUN JWENN, Senator Jean Hector ANACACIS

This famous quote " TOUT MOUN JWENN" was stated by Haitian Senator Jean Hector ANACACIS in a Radio Station in the Haitian Capital. According to the Senator, Laurent Lamothe paid all members of the Legislative branch in order to receive a favorable vote to become Prime Minister of Haiti.

Prior to the vote to ratify Laurent Lamothe as Prime Minister, many members of both houses took the position that they would not vote to ratify this nomination on the ground that Lamothe was not qualified to become Prime Minister. many cited that he did not meet the citizenship and residency requirement. However, the actual vote reflected something totally different than those prior positions

Following the votes, Senator Jean Hector ANACACIS admitted that all members of the legislative branch were given money or they receive favors in order to vote for the nomination of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe. In another way, according to the Senator of West" TOUT MOUN JWENN", or everyone received something for their vote. Some rumors estimated that Laurent Lamothe gave each senator $400,000 us, while others had friends and relatives nominated in various position in the Haitian diplomacy.

According to the executive director of National Network Defence of Human Rights (RNDDH), Pierre Esperance the brother of the first lady of Haiti, Sophia Martelly, Kiko Saint Remy and the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Frenser Dorcin got involved in a rift following an incident that took place on 4 July 2015 in Petition Ville.
The conflict took place over financial matter. Kiko St. Remy claimed that the Agricultural Minister owed him money for a deal and an understanding between the two. The amount given to him by Dorcin was according to him inadequate, considering much Remy had done for him.

Sophia Martelly and Olivier Martelly accused by lawyer Newton Saint-Juste

Haitian lawyer Newton Saint-Juste brought a legal suit against the wife of the Haitian president, Sophia Martelly and his son Olivier Martelly for two presidential decrees given them the authority to manage public funds. These Decrees that is contrary to the Haitian Constitution gave them authorization to run the program "Aba grangou" to create the Commission to Support the Coordination of Infrastructures for Sports. According to Haitian attorney Newton Saint-Juste these deals are valued at hundreds of millions of U.S.

Newton Saint-Juste stated that these acts by President Michel Martelly constitute a duplication of services and likely an excuse to squander the scarce funds in the country.

According to "All Haiti ans several media sources, the Haitian judge Jean Serge Joseph died on Saturday July 13, 2013 following a historic decision to compel the attendance of some high government authorities in the case involving Haitian First Lady, Sophia Martelly as well as te son of the President, Olivier Martelly.

Judge Joseph is from the region of L'Estere

Based on the information in circulation, President Michel Martelly had ordered the judge to reconsider its decision. According to Radio Kiskeya, the Judge died 48 hours after meeting with President Michel Martelly, Prime Minister Laurent Lamorthe and attorney Louis Gary Lissade.

The Chamber of Deputies has established a commission to investigate the causes of death of Judge Jean Serge Joseph

Aside from posing as a Customs official and handing out fake badges to unsuspecting people who believed they were government employees, journalist and radio host, Ernest Laventure Edouard, Moloskot, is also accused of having issued out firearms. He claimed he was hired by President Martelly, but, when summoned by the Government Commissioner, he was a no-show. He had, however, stated that he was answerable only to the President, giving credence to his avoidance of the press, with everyone from Vision 2000's Valery Numa wishing to speak with him.
