Pitit Desalin (PD) a coalition of well-regarded democratic organizations, has rejected an invitation to meet with Haitian President Michel Martelly to work out their differences. Ironically PD leader, Assad Volcy, has an arrest warrant against him issued by the government, and is bemused by the invitation.

Opposition parties Fanmi Lavalas (FL), Inite, Fusion, and Kontrapep have been reluctant to pursue talks with Martelly after repeated invitations from him. FL in particular has not considered Martelly's overtures a serious move to reconcile their differences. The Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition (MOPOD) has also turned down an invitation to meet with Martelly. Leaders consider the offer too little, too late.

Martelly, acting on another recommendation of the commission, has released 36 political prisoners to activist attorneys Michel Andre and Newton St. Juste. MOPOD thinks this is not enough and intends to bring legal action against Martelly for capital human rights violations. They also want the National Fund for Education audited for possible corruption activity.

Since the announcement from the hierarchy of the Fanmi Lavalas to let the public know that Moise Jean Charles and Arnel Belizaire can not speak for the party, there have been tensions between.

In a meeting held in the City of Les Cayes following the announcement, Moise Jean Charles claims to represent the people protesting in the street for the removal of current president Michel Martelly.

Many of the participants were in favor of Moise Jean Charles and Maryse Narcisse had a tough time conducting the meeting

There has been an accusation this week by Senator Edwin Zenny who stated that Senator Moïse Jean-Charles called him Afranchi. These two got it wrong. The way democracy is supposed to work is that instead of having fights between states or regions within a country, the battle takes pace in the Senate or House of Representatives. However, for Senator Moïse Jean-Charles; and Edwin Zenny, they are letting their personal distaste for each other blind their judgment .

Guys, you are paid to take care of the business of the people who voted for you.

Here is the Haitian senator from North of Haiti, Moise Jean-Charles speaking in French. There has been a lot of critics about the ability of the senator to express himself into the French Language.

There is a general understanding in Haiti if you are unable to speak French therefore you are not educated or smart.

Senator Moise Jean Charles has become a controversial figure in Haitian politic as he is in opposition to the government of Michel Martelly. He has accused the government for corruption and others.

Will we ever see a reunion between these two guys: Moise Jean Charles and President Michel Martelly. Since the beginning of his presidency, one Senator has become the symbol of opposition for Martelly. Senator Moise Jean Charles never has anything positive to say about President Michel Martelly. He has accused the Haitian President of being in corruption as well as many others.

Senator Moise Jean Charles is a member of 6 Senators who have been accused of preventing the president from organizing election in Haiti. Finally Presient Michel Martelly has decided to meet the Senators in opposition, including Senator Jean Charles

Beside kidnapping, the Senator from Nord also accused Martelly government for his involvement with drug dealers and gangsters.

During a convocation of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe on May 4th, 2013, where he responded to a Senate invitation to answer questions related to some fundings in question. the National Radio Television (RTNH), that was assuring the coverage at the time suddenly interrupted the coverage as Senator Moise Jean-Charles.

The questions remain and as to what caused that interruption and why it only took place during the intervention of Senator Moise Jean-Charles who has been in opposition of the current government. Several Senators denounced the action of Haiti National Radio Television (RTNH) immediately and demanded an investigation of the incident.

Until an investigation determines the nature of the technical failure by National Radio Television (RTNH) during the Senator Moïse Jean-Charles intervention, some people remain suspicious.

According to the Senator of the Republic for the north, President Michel Martelly is not Haitian citizen, he as taken the natiolalities of United States and Italy. The Senator is expected to file document to support his statement.

However, after admitting that he filed the required documentation with the senate commission investigating the nationality of President Michel Martelly and members of the Haitian government, the commission said that they did not receive the alleged document.
