Galerie Bourbon-Lally
The 2010 earthquake may have caused the Haitian leg of the Galerie Bourbon-Lally to close, but its showroom in the US remained opened, allowing the show to go on. Just since this year, the Exodus exhibition took place, putting on show, in partnership with BrutEdge Gallery, the work of Cuban painter Carlos Estevez. The showcase, which took place from May 10 until June 19, 2014, showed the artist's work from 2010 up to then. It delved into Estevez's concern with the spirituality of man and featured the use of iconography to tell his stories.
