Armed bandits caused accident resulting in 3 dead, 30 injuries in Petit-Goave
On the night between Monday July 25 and Tuesday July 26 armed bandits caused a major road accident in the area of "Pon Kayiman", "gran simitye" in Petit-Goave. This took place after a vehicle loaded with passenger was taken into an ambush as the driver was attempting to find his way out of a barricade on the road with. It was reported that one of gang members shot the tire of the bus, causing it to to fall into the river. Immediately after the accident, two of the passengers died and over 30 who were injured were taken to a nearby hospital. It was reported later that one of the injured individuals passed away, bringing the final death toll to 3
