International Volunteer Day in Haiti.

2014 International Volunteer Day brings together National and International Volunteer Organizations

To celebrate 2014 International Volunteer Day UN Volunteers worked with the Haitian Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Civic Action to put on a volunteer fair.

Volunteers representing national and international volunteer community organizations held orientation work shops for anyone interested in learning more about volunteerism.

The day after the fair national and international volunteers visited Boucan Carre to participate in a community volunteer activity, planting mangoes. TechnoServe and Zanmi Agrikol provided sponsorship.
