I can not said that he is the conventional type of presidents that we have had in the past. One may not like him, or what not, but he is a winner.

He had surprised the whole world, and had won the presidency of Haiti.

What is left to say?

Like the ones before him, he has very nice words in his mouth, and seems to pin point exactly where the problems are.One thing is certain, Martelly is from a different generation, and appears to be at tune with all classes of Haitians.

He doesn't seem to think like the past leaders; his views are more opened to the world.

He seems to know what's going on and wants to unify the country.

If somebody can do it, he is the right leader for that task. Martelly has a very important asset that some the past presidents didn't have; he can communicate in pretty decent English.

That's a very significant benefit because he could directly negotiate with the corrupt birds.

He seems naive and wants to change the face of our devastated country.

Let's do anything we can to help him pull our "Haiti Cherie" out of the mud-hole where it has been dwelling for too long.
