Massacre At Raboteau, FRAPH Arrested In Raboteau, Tortured
The level of crime that occured during the Raboteau Massacre was out of this world. it was reported by many that members of FRAPH Front for the Advancement and Progress of Haiti arrested people in the town of Raboteau, tortured and/or shot them. They shoot at escapees fleeing by sea. FRAPH refused to let victims relatives claim their bodies.
Amiot Metayer Supporter Of President Aristide
This is Amiot Metayer who supported the military regime from 1991 to 1994 together with his gang. He was definitely a supporter of the lavalas movement at the beginning. Amiot Metayer also supported President Aristide during his second term however, in July 2002 he went to prison for arson.
Mirlande Manigat accused Martelly on money-laundering for Carnival in Les cayes
The Haitian government had to go public to denounce the allegation of former Presidential candidate Mirlande Manigat who accused the Martelly government for being involved in money-laundering. Mrs Manigat claimed that the 2012 carnival moved to the city of Les Cayes to make it easy for money-laundering. That large-scale money laundering happening in Les Cayes with the agents coming by boat, with cash.
The report said that Prime Minister Garry Conilled was shocked to hear such an allegation from a former Presidential candidate. He said that Ms. Manigat has no basis for making such an accusation and went on to clarify that the only reason the 2012 Carnival was moved to the City of Les Cayes in light of the objective of president Michel Martelly to decentralize the country
Daniel Supplice robbed in Dominican Republic, cell phone and valuables taken
While attending a wedding in the City of Santiago in the Dominican Republic, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, Daniel Supplice, was robbed by four armed men, according to sacbee.com.
The website reported that they robbed Supplice and his family of his cell phone and valuables. The Minister of Haitians Living Abroad was not injured. Minister Supplice was visiting the neighboring Republic to attend the wedding of a family member
Four armed men in Dominican Republic robbed Daniel Supplice and his family
One more Haitian has become the victim of crime in the Dominican Republic. However, this time it's not any Haitian citizen. According to Le Matin newspaper, four armed men robbed Daniel Supplice and his family and took cell phones and valuables.
Daniel Supplice was in the city of Santiago to participate in a wedding. The Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, was not hurt but shaken as a result of the incident. He has announced that more information will be provided on Monday
