Haitian Boxer Adonis Stevenson
Super middleweight and sometimes light heavyweight fighter, Haitian born Adonis 'Superman' Stevenson is well known for his knack of doling out knockouts. The 5ft. 11in. boxer, who has been fighting professionally since his debut in 2006, issued his first career TKO to opponent Mike Funk in his professional match debut. Since then, he's added seventeen others to his knockout repertoire. His most recent was given to Chad Lawson, a final blow that won Stevenson the WBC and The Ring Light Heavyweight titles.
Farah Juste Sings Against Political Forces
Here is a photo of Farah Juste. She speaks out against political abuses back home in her country of Haiti and at one point could not openly sing such songs in the country. She finally got out of the country and went to Montreal, Canada where she began publicly singing these songs describing what bad governance the country had and how baldy it affected the Haitian community.

A former finance Minister under Jean-Claude Duvalier, Mark Louis Bazin attempted to fight corruption under Duvalier but admitted thath he was unsuccessful.
During the Aristide era, Mr. Bazin was considered the one who could get the country out of its problem.
He was considered the favorite candidate for the international community and and acceptable alternative to Aristide by the Haitian elite.
Rene Preval Awards Cuban Medical Brigade For Helping Haiti
Here is a picture representing the good relationship that exists between Cuba and haiti.
In April, 2011, Haitian president Rene Preval has awarded Haiti most prestigious award to the Cuban Medical Brigade. The award was granted to the Cuban Medical Brigade in recognition for their services to the Haitian population.

The relationship between Cuba and Haiti has never been better than for the past several years. The first official visit of Michel Martelly to Cuba will solidify that relationship. Cuba has been the leader in Haiti providing healthcare and other services to the people.
The Government of Haiti can not even begin to thank Raul and Fidel Castro for their generosity in providing medical teamsto help Haiti fight the Cholera epidemic and other medical issues.
Before anything else, The Martelly's government needs to demonstrate to the Cuban people that Haitians are greatful for that.

Cuban Medical teams have been making a major difference in Haiti since 1998, since the government of Jean-Bertrand Aristide. They have been all over haiti providing necessary medical services to the population. The 2010 Haiti earthquake has made their presence even more important in Haiti.
