The FMS has two main parts: one professional and the other is talent school. The professional school was started since its inception. It emphasizes on the basic and vocational training. Here, the children below the age of 16, attend primary school and receive lessons on reading, writing and mathematics. When they complete 16 years of age, get trained in carpentry, sewing, culinary arts and car repairing. Their educational training ends when they complete 24 years of age. If they want study further FMS pay for them. The talent school has four programs: dance, music, soccer and theatre. It accommodates around 450 'restavek' children in the Carrefour area, who are eligible to take part in the professional school programs. The FMS help to build their careers and makes life meaningful.

Foyer Maurice Sixto is a school named after the famous sociologist Maurice Sixto where the school runs with a motto "all children are children and they have same and equal right. The school is located 30 miles west of Port-au-Prince in Carrefour, Haiti. It was founded in 1989 and invites "restavek children". "Restavek" are the children mainly come from the countryside families who cannot support their children send them to live in well off families in the towns who promise to offer them better lives and education in a city center but the children are often mistreated, forced to do manual labor, cooking, cleaning, and other household chores. The restavek children live here in an family environment. They are offered free food, education and professional training.
Who was the famous Maurice Sixto?
Maurice Alfrédo Sixto is affectionately called Moy. He was born in Gonaives, Haiti on 23 May 1919. He is unquestionably the biggest name in Haitian literature with many other interchangeable characters like, sociologist, storyteller, revolutionary, humorist and moralist. His literary talent is often compared with other world classes such as Shakespeare, Moliere, Bill Cosby, Achebe, Dostoevsky and Victor Hugo.
Presentation of the first Bus prototype Made in Haiti
Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the presence of several members presented the first Haitian bus made by a young Haitian, Jean-Paul Coutard. The bus was baptized as "The Haitian pride". It took Coutard five years to study and two years to build this bus with doubled chassis 300-hp diesel engine, four exits, rear view camera, custom lamps, sound system, television, 54 reclining comfortable seats and sanitary facilities. The minister affirmed Government Martelly-Lamothe's support to Coutard's future projects. A land will be allotted to Coutard in cooperation with the Haitian government; furthermore, the government will assist him for necessary foreign training.
Stéphane Moraille, Bran Van 3000 singer, seeks Montreal NDP nod
Bourassa is a home of large Haitian population and various ethnic groups. Three high profile candidates are running for nomination in the forthcoming the Bourassa riding. Stéphane Moraille from NDP, George Laraque, NHL enforcer for the Green party and Emmanuel Dubourg, who is seeking selection for the Liberal party. Stéphane Moraille is an experienced lawyer specialized in arts and communication law and winner of many singing awards including a Juno for "Glee". NDP leader Tom Mulcair approved his support and said he was honored to have a candidate of her stature. The diverse Bourassa, the north end riding, is reined by Coderre for last 16 years.
Justice Minister Jean Renel Sanon Stands appointed Francisco Rene
Minister of Justice, Jean Renel Sanon, appointed Francisco René the new Port-au-Prince Chief Prosecutor despite protest by Carlos Hercules, Law Societies President.
Hercules points out René is unfit to serve as Chief Prosecutor because every government post he has held scandal has followed him. The Haitian Bar Association has tried to disbar him without success.
Hercules mailed Sanon, stating his objections to Francisco Rene's appointment. Sanon says he will uphold René's appointment because he "brings order and I appreciate his work."

The Enold Florestal case is a mass of contradictions being played out before the public.
Judge Belizaire swore out an arrest warrant on Florestal, and police took him into custody. But was there police brutality or not?
Public Safety Secretary Delva posted photoshopped images on the Internet showing Florestal's bruises.
Also, some say Florestal was not at the scene of Dureaseau's murder, but at an emergency ward.
Delva apologized when the images were verified as photoshopped.
First Lady, Sophia Martelly, Surprise Visit to Petit Goâve Mobile Health Clinic
Sophia Martelly, First Lady of Haiti, visited a mobile health clinic in Petit-Goâve on Our Lady of the Assumption feast day. She remained for two days to show petit-goaviennes President Martelly cares about community health.
The new clinic is comprised of two consulting rooms, an on-site pharmacy, and a waiting area. Nearly 400 men, women, and children received no-charge wellness exams and prescription meds. Referrals were given to clients, whose conditions warranted further health services.
Lake Festival Supports Eco-Tourism in Natural Park Quisqueya
To promote eco-tourism, a plan for a festival for Natural Park Quisqueya has been approved. The Lake Festival will run August 23rd to September 1st 2013.
Event calendar activities range from art/culture, to ecology/biodiversity, to multi-communal exchanges.
European Union is financing 80% of the festival and the government of Haiti 20%.
One reason for the festival is to increase eco-tourism and help raise local-product exports. The festival will allow visitors to discover unique flora and fauna, part of the biodiversity of the park.
Attorney Louis Lissade Claims Senate Report Anti-Martelly
Attorney Louis Lissade has denounced a report issued by Senate Inquiry Committee (SIC) regarding Judge Joseph's death. Biased, it ignores tenants of law and reason. It also violates the Constitution Senators are sworn to uphold.
Conclusions of the investigation suggest President Martelly be impeached. Furthermore, SIC advices Martelly to sue Lissade.
Lissade, outraged his reputation has been smeared, says the report needs ratification by the Upper Chamber but it is divided on the issue and ratification is uncertain.
