Here is a picture of Pierre-Edouard Kanzki , the man accused with Dominican Colonel retired Pedro Julio Goico. The two were stated in Dominican press to be involved in a plot to to destabilize and eventually overthrow the government of President Michel Martelly.

Pierre-Edouard Kanzki rejected the accusation for wanting to destabilize the Haitian government, Michel Martelly. "The Dominican press reported a plot that I would have fomented against the President Joseph Michel Martelly. What a joke !", stated Pierre-Edouard Kanzki. He went further to say that he, just like the Haitian singer Wyclef Jean was involved in the fight to elect Michel Martelly.

The minister of justice in Haiti, Mr. Paul Denis, is one unsatisfied customer with the Senate Committee responsible to inquiry on corruption and electoral fraud.

He believes the practices used by the Committee, for which Senator Youri Latortue is in charge is not a real committee looking to inquire about the process. According to Paul Denis, the Senate Committee is involved in political propaganda

The Martelly's government has a goal to transform the entire SouthEast Department into a tourist destination. The Haitian Minister of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin brought several Venezuelan Investors to the city of Jacmel to evaluate how they could contribute in the development of the region. There is currently about $30 millions available for investment in infrastructure and several key points in Jacmel and the region.

The Minister of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, is currently focused on several areas such as improving the capacity of the seaport in Jacmel to accommodate large cruise liners. The government wants the SouthEast Department to benefit as well from the tourists who come via cruise line.
