The Haiti election results released on December 7 gave Mirlande Manigat the lead in the 2010 Haiti election with 31.4 percent of the vote. Comes in secong place, was Jude Celestin with 22.5 percent of the votes. Michel Martelly was placed in third position with 21.8 peercent of the vote

The "Haitian Joudalist" has learned that the President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Gaillot Dorsinvil, is currently not in Haiti. According to Senator Youri Latortue, left the country although there is an order for him to remain in the country.

There has been a Boat accident neat la Gonave, Haiti. The report indicated that there has been at least five people dead in that accident. in May, 2008, at least 11 Haitians died after a passenger ferry capsized in Haiti.
