Here is a photo of the headquarter of the president Rene Preval Unite party as demonstrators were attempting to set it on fire following the election results of 2010.

At one point during the day on December 8, you could see flames leaping out of the roof of the UNITE headquarter facility.

As you can see in this picture, the Haitians use this place Sceau d'eau in Haiti to pray in the Voodoo religion. Most will take bath, wash their body with leaves found in the area. They also bring food and drinks to the lwa.

The magic of voodoo is very much alive in Sceau d'eau where many will ask the lwa for special favors. They usually come every year until they are satisfied with their demands

The Haitian Giovernment does not want to pay. 40 Haitian Television stations are asking the CEP for payment amounting to 9 million Haitian Gourdes. This is close to 250,000 that the CEP owes the media for services provided during the runoff election in Haiti.
