Telecoms paid million in bribery to Haitian officials
US Justice Department charged Telecoms for paying $1.4 million in bribery to some high Haitian officials at Haiti's state-owned telecommunications firm. In return for the money, Telecoms was to get preferential treatments in some sectors of the Haitian communication industry.
Obviously, the deal did not gp accprdomg to plan. This investigation is getting closer and closer to the dest of former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide as there are allegation that this took place during his government
