The radio host Laventure Ernest Edouard is better known by the name Moloskot. In May 2013, this acolyte of former Haitian President Martelly was accused by the director of the General Administration of Customs (GAC), Fresnel Jean-Baptiste, in theft charges of securities and criminal conspiracy. As per Radio Kiskeya sources, he distributed fake official badges as well as arms to a group of custom employees. However, in an interview on the radio Scoop FM, Moloskot said he was betrayed. Because, he was employed by the President to do a specific job, but does not understand how everything went wrong. Recently, in March 2016, at Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami, he was present during a presentation of Martelly's of Presidential candidate Jovenel Moise.

Here is a picture of former CEP member, Pierre Richard Duchemin. On Sunday, March 6, 2016, following a road accident on National 2, near Leogane, Pierre Richard Duchemin was pronounced dead.

On Sunday, March 6, 2016, the former election adviser, Pierre Richard Duchemin, died following a traffic accident occurred on the highway # 2, up to Leogane. He was traveling in a car with the son of a former councilor. We might remember that about ten years ago he suffered a terrible car accident, in the same locality. That accident cost him a broken femur, broken knee and fractured pelvis. He was a representative of the Haitian Catholic Church in the CEP (Provisional Electoral Council), joined on February 6, 2005. He joined as a CEP member, replacing Julien Roselaure who held the position as the President of the CEP.

Here is a picture of Prime Minister Nominee Fritz Jean submitting his document for verification in the process of ratification.

Haitian Prime Minister Nominee Fritz Jean has submitted his document to the 7-member parliament committee for verification and justification of his candidature in anticipation of securing the vote of confidence. However, only four of the seven deputies in the commission have approved his document. Earlier, the announcement of Fritz Jean as the new Prime Minister by the interim President Jocelerme Privert was criticized by many opponents as it was contempt of Haitian constitution, because Privert's announcement was made without any confidence vote, without the approval of the presidents of the both houses of the Parliament, and without the confirmation of the eligibility of Fritz-Alphonse Jean as the new Prime Minister.

Here is a picture of Mia Love as she is meeting the Haitian Community in North Miami.

Ludmya Bourdeau "Mia" Love is an American politician, the first Haitian American and the first black female Republican in Congress. This U.S Representative from Utah is the first African American to be elected to Congress from Utah. Her parents emigrated together from Haiti in 1973, two years before her birth. On Saturday, March 12, 2016, despite her busy political schedule, she took time out to meet a group of Haitian-American professionals at a breakfast reception organized by the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (HACCOF) at Moca Café, in North Miami. Mia came to Miami on an election campaign of Sunshine State for GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubi. The meeting was the result of Mia's 6-month old commitment to the Chamber's Chairman, Jeff Lozama. Mia made the commitment when they met for the first time in Washington, D.C. in last September. In his opening speech, Mr. Lozama made it clear that Ms. Love was present in the meeting for non-political reasons-- to hold open minded talks with her Haitian compatriots. The meeting was a success to certain degrees, because many important Haitian-Americans were absent in the meeting. One reason for their absenteeism could be that Haitian-Americans are politically more inclined to the Democratic Party.

Here is a picture of Mr. Himmler Rébu, Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) under Michel Martelly.

Himmler Rebu was the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) in President Martelly's government. He is the founder of political party GREH who supports the interim President Privert's act to establish a new government with his Prime Minister Fritz Jean. He advised his friends from PHTK platform to help Privert to hold the second round of the election within 120 days as per the accord. He is the best person to speak on the issue of military in Haiti. When he was a minister in the Martelly administration, he had said that he shares the same ideological lines with Martelly. On becoming a minister in Martelly's administration, this former colonel denounced the constitutional amendments intended by the former government as a 'conspiracy' against the nation, the economy and the political stability of Haiti.

Himmler Rebu unsuccessful coup d'etat against Prosper Avril

In april, 1989, Rebels surrendered control of Port-au-Prince's airport. It was later found out that Haiti was once again in a middle of a Coup D'Etat. Lt. Col. Himmler Rebu, commander of the Leopards Battalion, Col. Phillipe Biamby and Col. Leonce Qualo were given safe passage to the United States.

Three army officers who tried to overthrow the country's leader, Lt. Gen. Prosper Avril were arrested but later, they were driven by military escort to the Dominican border on their way to the United States on April 4, 1989. These three officers were Lt. Col. Himmler Rebu (38 years old in 1989), commander of the Leopards Battalion; Col. Phillipe Biamby (36), commander of the presidential guard, and Col. Leonce Qualo (35), an administrative officer at army headquarters. Some loyal soldiers of Lt. Gen. Prosper Avril rescued the Lt. General as he was being driven away to be deported. General Avril's wife, Marie-Ange, and her mother were taken captive during the coup with the general, but were released within an hour. The government freed these three soldiers of the failed coup attempt from prison as it bowed to pressure from the mutinous soldiers who held General Avril's one of the four sons as hostage. These three army officers were associated with Jean-Claude Duvalier before he was deposed in 1986.

November, 2002, Himmler Rebu, an ex-Haitian Army colonel, of Haiti's National Progressive Democratic Party, addressing a march of anti-Aristide government demonstrators.

Himmler Rebu is an ex-Haitian Army colonel in the leopard unit who jointly led the Platform of Haitian Patriots in the 2010-11 general elections with Dejean Balisaire and their party own 1 seat. Rebu led a coup attempt in 1989 against a provisional military government, and since then he kept a low profile until he was resurfaced again on November 17, 2002. On that day, he was seen addressing in a march of 15,000 anti-government demonstrators along with Evans Paul demanding Aristide's exit. Rebu told his audience to "Rise up." He said, he cannot maintain his silence because Aristide is ruining the country. He also accused then Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide behind the assassination of Haitian journalists Jean Dominique and Brignol Lindor at an anti-government rally in Cap-Haitien. Rebu claims that he has always been against any disorder irrespective of the nature of the chaos, whether it is in intellectual, political or in tactical field.

Here is a picture of Guy Philippe celebrating after he led the 2004 coup d'état against Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

Guy Philippe (February 29, 1968) is a Haitian politician, former Tonton Macoutes leader and a presidential candidate (Front for National Reconstruction, a guerrilla group) in the Haitian General Election, 2006 who led the 2004 Haitian coup d'état that ousted Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Philippe was a former Haitian Police Chief, trained by U.S Special Forces in Ecuador in the early 1990s and he was once wanted by the United States for smuggling cocaine. In the year 2000, he was accused of masterminding a coup and was subsequently removed from his post as police chief of Cap-Haïtien and Philippe fled to the Dominican Republic. In February 2004, he returned from the DR, met former militia leader Louis-Jodel Chamblain to join the 2004 Haitian coup d'état against president Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

Here is a picture surrendering the proble of citizenship faced by President Michel Martelly. US Ambassador Kenneth Merten declaring Michel Martelly a Haitian citizen.

When in March 2012, the snowball rumor about Michel Martelly's nationality transformed into an avalanche, destroying his credibility to hold the president's office, then-U.S. Ambassador to Haiti Kenneth Merten (August 25, 2009 - July 20, 2012 ) came to his rescue. Merten said Mr. Martelly is not an American citizen and he does not have a U.S. passport. However, the Haitian legislature was not satisfied with that explanation. About one year ago in early 2011, a bogus U.S. passport was surfaced on the Internet that purported to be Michel Martelly's. Marten's assurances could not impress the members of a special commission of the Haitian Senate responsible to investigate politicians who hold dual citizenship. However, Martelly termed this citizenship controversy initiated by Senator Jean-Charles as "conspiracy", organized by people who can't believe Michel Martelly is going to be the country's President.

Here is a picture of a collapsed bridge in Cite Soleil along Route 9 in Haiti.

The recent collapse of a bridge (Wout Nave Bridge) on Rivière Grise shows how poorly Haiti's road system is planned and managed. The bridge partially collapsed on March 18, 2016 at around 8:30 am at the passage of a dump truck carrying gravel. This structure used to carry over hundred heavily loaded trucks everyday that was built to support a load of twenty tons only! An investigation suggests that another possible cause of the collapse could be the stolen bolts of the bridge which were found missing. The accident was predictable as this twenty year old structure was never maintained properly by the Ministry of Public Works.
