Yes there was. His name was Joseph Laroche. The Haitian man wh perished in Titanic came from a wealthy family in Haiti. Joseph Laroche studied engineering in France. He married Juliette, a white girl. Together Joseph Laroche and Juliette had a daughter Simonne. In 1910 the family gave birth to a premature girl, Louise, who had a lot of complications. Out of frustration from being discriminated, Joseph Laroche decided to leave France for his home country, Haiti. Joseph Laroche and family boarded the humongous Titanic on the evening of April 10, 1912, at Cherbourg, France.

The creation of yet another site to attract tourism in Haiti. We are talking about the establish a National Botanical Garden in Haiti.

This week, a symposium is debating this idea of creating a National Botanical Garden in Haiti that will be good for both to protect the environment and also contrubute to making Haiti a more attractive destination for the tourists visiting the Caribbean island.

Taking advantage of the emphasis around the world on conservation, protection for the environment, green, a symposium was held in Haiti for the purpose of creating a National Botanical garden in Haiti.

Some of the major contributors to the legendary Haitian music band Bossa Combo include Raymond Cajuste, Shubert Gehy on vocals, Rodrigue Toussaint on guitar, Emile Dernest on guitar accompaniment, Ernst Volcy on bass guitar. We don t want to forger others like Adrien Jeanite on organ, Emmanuel Figaro on saxophone, Almando Keslin on battery, and Max Levy on tom-tom.
