This is a picture of the parade in the streets of Miama for the Caribbean parade. This event that takes place annually in Miami attracts over 100,000 people. Many people travel from all over, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, other Latin America and for the most part, the Caribbean to attend this event.

This picture represents the ongoing issue in Haiti regarding prostitution. Due to the lack of job and poverty in the country, many young Haitians are obligated to go to prostitution in order to feed themselves. As an unregulated business in Haiti, these Sex Worker are often infected with communicable diseases. Many do not have any other options available.

Following the 2010 earthquake, many more young women became prostitutes. As the family who were supporting them became victims of the earthquake, these young women were forced to be involved in Prostitution

President-elect Michel Martelly has requested the help of the International community as well. He asks that the international community does not recognize the official results published.

Here is a picture taken during the interview that President Elect Michel martelly gave to Miami Herald.

Michel Martelly briefly addressed some of the more controversial subjects such as the Haitian military, the return of former presidents Jean-Claude Duvalier and Jean Bertrand Aristide, and the selection of the next Haiti Prime Minister.

On the question of the military, Michel Martelly does not think that it was necessary to eliminate the entire force.

Here is ax picture taken from Hope for Haiti Now Telethon. The telethon was broadcasted for over two hours. Funds were collected by phone, via text messaging and over the internet. In the United States, Haiti Now Telethon was broadcasted via 25 networks.

The reason for her exile was the prevailing political upheaval in Haiti. At the moment she had a great desire to go back home and be part of bringing change. She passed on in the year 1994.
