Oprah Winfrey Calls Kim Kardashian a Phony, according to National Enquirer
He, I have nothing to do with this. I did not call her that but another celebrity did. According to the National Enquirer magazine, Oprah Winfrey called Kim Kardashian a Phony.
According to the magazine, there is nothing real on the recent trip to Haiti by Kim Kardashian. Its's all about publicity and to exploite the current situation of Haitians.
The National Enquirer reported that Oprah was as clear to say that Kim Kardashian made the trip to Haiti for her own selfish reason and had nothing to do with charity work.
U.S. Senator Dick Durbin visits Haiti with focus on recovery and reforestation of environment
High ranking official of US government to visit Haiti. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, Democrat from Illinois will be visiting Haiti at the end of January, 2012 to assess progress on the recovery effort. He will meet with the Haitian leader, Michel Martelly and other government leaders.
Senator Dick Durbin has taken the reforestation of Haiti very seriously. Last year, he introduced a reforestation of Haiti bill in the U.S. senate. The US Senator believes that by focusing on support for the environment such as reforestation, Haiti will be able to manage natural disaster better.
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff first visit in Haiti to intensify cooperation
The president of the country leading MINUSTAH peacekeeping force is in Haiti. During her first visit in the country, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff will take a first hand look at the devastation of the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the progress in the recovery effort.
She will also work with the Cuban team in Haiti that has made such a difference in the area of Healthcare.
President Dilma Rousseff also has plan to provide support in Haiti in the area of health and agriculture. The Brazilian President will also provide help in vocational training and hydroelectric plant in Haiti to increase its electrical capacity.
Francois Guillaume, the new consul general of Haiti in Miami
In other news, Francois Guillaume is now the new consul general of Haiti in Miami. While speaking in a press conference following his appointment, Guillaume expressed optimism over his new job, saying that he was going to see to it that the elderly and the youth at risk would be taken care of. He also said that the services of the consul would be improved. He vowed to improve the tourism industry in the country as well as creating more investment opportunities.

Michel Brunache, the New Haiti Minister of Justice in Haiti
It has been confirmed that the new Minister of Justice in Haiti has been nominated and it is no other than Mr. Michel Brunache. This position was previously held by Josue Pierre-Louis who resigned on November 22nd due to the illegal arrest of Deputy Arnel Belizaire.
Michel Brunache is a lawyer who graduated from the University of Haiti in 1995, was the Chief of Staff to former interim-President Boniface Alexandre.
