Here is a superstar in Rap Kreyol. The artist Izolan is considered one of the biggest names in the field at this time. His popularity has actually crossed that barriers and is now considered a major figure in Haiti.

Does this mean that Rap Kreyol is now to stay in our culture? That would go against the logic that many in the music industry have been saying. Until recently, I was told that Rap Kreyol was something that will eventually disappear from Haiti landscape. Unlike the Haitian Kompa music, many have suggested that the youth will eventually grow out of it.

Brasserie Nationale d'Haiti S.A is also the distributor of imported alcoholic beverages for Diageo in Haiti. Later, the company got involved in soft drinks under the name King Kola along with energy drink Toro. King Kola comes in a variety of flavors banana, orange, grape) but there is no cola flavor. Brana furthered its product line expansion by adding bottled water to its line of products named "Crystal".

The President of the International Religious Organization Nation of Islam, Honourable Louis Farrakhan who visited the Caribbean country of Haiti in December, 2011, stated that he has great respect for Haitian Voodoo, calling it the religion of Freedom. Minister Farrakhan was in Haiti to promote religious peace. He met with Haitian religious leaders from all sectors, including Catholic, Protestant and voodoo leaders. He stated: "In no way Haiti can return to its prior situation if we do not respect the voodoo and the people who gave to Haiti the freedom."
