He has studied communication and drama at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art, self-taught in Sociology and Political Science and he holds a certificate from Harvard. Evans Paul was a Professor of Civic Society and the Diplomatic Academy, an expert playwright and program host Konbit Pitit Kay on Radio Cacique between 1977 to 1980.

Evans Paul is an old media man, a good orator and onetime radical militant leader who has been transformed into a moderate politician. Paul, after his split with Aristide, became his strongest critic. His predecessor Laurent Lamothe was impeached and removed from his seat following the recommendations of a presidential commission of which Paul was a member. He was a part of the movement that toppled former dictator Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier in 1986. His relations with Duvalier soured when he was tipped as a potential successor as head of the state. PM Evans Paul declares war on President Jocelerme Privert

PM Evans Paul declares war on President Jocelerme Privert

In an interview given to Marie Lucie bonhomme on February 23, PM Evans Paul has declared war on President Jocelerme Privert.

PM Evans Paul Declares War on President Jocelerme Privert

A cold war is underway between the Prime Minister Evans Paul and the Provisional President Jocelerme Privert. The PM Evans Paul believes that the accord signed between Jocelerme Privert and former President Michel Martelly specifically mentions the responsibility of the new provisional president (Jocelerme Privert) to complete the remaining election process and that translates in to the arrangement of the final run off between Jovenel Moise and Jude Celestin within the scheduled date on April 24, 2016 and install a new President on May 14, 2016. As per Evans Paul, since Privert was the principal architect of the agreement with his erstwhile capacity as the Senate Chief, he must strictly respect that agreement.

What Hillary Clinton Said In Her $225,000 Wall Street Speeches

What Hillary Clinton Said In Her $225,000 Wall Street Speeches

In October 2013, when Hillary Clinton spoke to Goldman Sachs executives and technology titans at a summit in Arizona, she appreciated the role of the bank in raising capital and creating jobs, but remained silent about the bank's role in the 2008 crisis. She praised the diversity of Goldman¡¯s workforce, including the prominent roles of women at the blue-chip investment bank and the tech firms present at the event. Some of the attendees said what Clinton said there was nothing controversial or memorable. Clinton received $225,000 for that appearance. As per Morning Consult media company report, she received a total of $625,000 for three earlier speeches from the same banking company after leaving the State Department. The media report further says that nearly two-thirds of voters think Mrs. Clinton should make public those speeches. However, the money is not really as big as it sounds; , it is actually roughly on the line what other famous public speakers receive per speech, for example, Donald Trump usually receives $1.5 million+, Bill Clinton $225,000+, George W. Bush $150,000, Condoleezza Rice $150,000, etc. The price tag has less to do with the content of the speeches themselves.

Hillary Clinton, What Happened In 2012 Benghazi Attack

Hillary Clinton, What Happened In 2012 Benghazi Attack

On September 11, 2012, some Islamic extremists launched a terrorist attack on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, killing Ambassador Chris Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith. Several hours later, a second assault targeted a different compound about one mile away, killing CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty. Following the attack, United Nations' U.S. ambassador, Susan Rice, explained on a television program that the attack was in some way, a response to protests to an anti-Islam video (Innocence of Muslims). Hillary Clinton, being the Secretary of State subsequently took the responsibility of the security lapse at the compound. On November 7, 2012, Judicial Watch filed Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request on Benghazi with State Department and ultimately, they sued on September 4, 2014, for not complying with the request. Later, Judicial Watch obtained certain files that show that State Department officials under Hillary Clinton¡¯s command blatantly lied about the attack. It was never an escalation of a demonstration against an absurd YouTube video. A group of extremists with AK 47 in hand, burst through the fortified front gate of the U.S outpost and the diplomatic compound and a covert CIA base a mile away which were partially reduced to rubble by mortar fire. In April 2016, it was further revealed that Turkish officials provided intelligence on the attack and offered to ¡°shelter¡± Americans in the Benghazi residence of the Turkish Consul General. Before attending the arrival ceremony for the remains of those killed in Benghazi, Hillary promised Tyrone Woods¡¯s father ¡°we are going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible for the death of your son

Hillary Clinton, the email controversy

Hillary Clinton, the email controversy

When Hillary Clinton was campaigning as a presidential candidate in March 2015, it became publicly known that she used personal email addresses connected to a privately-owned server, rather than government email accounts maintained on secured federal servers. Because, she thought that it would enable her to reach people quickly and keep in regular touch with her family and friends more easily. As per investigation report, the clintonemail.com domain was established on January 13, 2009, but as per Hillary's statement, she began using the private server for government business since March 18, 2009. It is a fact that the laws, regulations, and the State Department policy in place during her tenure say she was in compliance with the laws and regulations at that time. In fact, more than 90% of those emails (30,490 ¡°work-related¡± emails to the State Department totaling 55,000 printed pages) have already been captured in the State Department¡¯s email system before she provided them with paper copies. Presently, her best defense is, she held the office of 67th United States Secretary of State between January 21, 2009 ¨C February 1, 2013 and the law to forward all work-related email through the federal server was enacted by President Obama on November 26, 2014, after Hillary Clinton departed the State Department on February 1, 2013. However, on March 10, 2015, it was learned that the 31,830 emails which she deleted herself were, as per her statement, ¡°private

Hillary Clinton's brother and Haiti gold mine permit raises eyebrows

Hillary Clinton's brother and Haiti gold mine permit raises eyebrows

Hillary Rodham Clinton's brother Tony Rodham became a board member of VCS Mining when the company was granted a lucrative 5-year permit to mine gold in Haiti. The permit was the first to be granted in over 50 years with a privilege to renew the mining project in Morne Bossa for up to 25 years. One of the factors that raised eyebrows was the timing of the permit. The exceptional permit was issued two years after the earthquake when major relief works in Haiti were carried on by Tony's brother-in-law former President Bill Clinton¡¯s own foundation through Haiti Recovery Commission. The deal was controversial, because Haiti has an estimated gold reserve of $20 billion and the Haitian government was agreed to accept a royalty rate from the VCS Mining which was at least half the standard rate at 2.5%. Another VCS board member was Jean-Max Bellerive, a former Haitian prime minister who also co-chaired the same Haiti Recovery Commission; he was involved to persuade Haitian Senators to support the project. Tony Rodham is the youngest brother of Hillary Rodham Clinton. He is a former prison guard, private detective and a former repo man who used to work to secure foreign financing for a company.

Hillary Clinton Stopped Haiti from Increasing Minimum Wage

Hillary Clinton Stopped Haiti from Increasing Minimum Wage

Haiti supplies the U.S tons of affordable clothing from big-name brands like Levi¡¯s, Hanes and Polo. Its main advantage over other countries is not only its proximity to the U.S, Haiti's people work for peanut; they work for slave wages, less than $5 a day and the U.S clothing manufacturers, outsource their manufacturing to places like Haiti specifically because they can get away with paying slave wages. Recently, New York and California adopted a $15 statewide minimum wage and both the Democratic presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, had advocated extending the policy nationwide. However, Hillary had a different take on Haiti on wage increase. In 2009, when Bill Clinton was setting up one of his family¡¯s shell companies in New York, during that same year, Hillary was at the State Department working with U.S. corporations to pressure Haiti not to increase its minimum wage from 27 cents to 61 cents per hour and decided to get the U.S. Department of State involved to try and pressure Haiti¡¯s government to keep the wage raise down. In 2011, their mission was successful, the factory owners were agreed to pay only 31 cents per hour or about $2.50 a day, instead of 62 cents or $5 a day. People from the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere continued to work for worse slave wages than they otherwise would have, all so U.S. corporations could take home higher profits. As of 2008, Hanes employed 3,200 Haitians for $2 a day and paid about 1.6 million per year. Hanesbrands Inc made $211 million profit on $4.3 billion in sales in 2008 --- the profit is nearly 132 times more than what they paid to poor Haitian workers. Hillary truly deserves big thanks from the U.S clothing manufacturers.
