Aristide in Court

Here is a picture of Former Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide following his court appointment on May 8, 2013.

The leader of the Fanmi Lavalas party went to court on Jean Leopold Dominique Case. However, according to many political analysis the winner in all that is Aristide himself and the Lavalas party.

It was estimated that hundreds of thousand of people took to the street to show support for the former president.

Thousands of Jean Bertrand Aristide supporters took to the streets to support him. He was summoned by Haitian Judge Yvickel Dabresil in the case of the assassination of the famous Haitian journalist Jean Léopold Dominique and his guard.

For the first time since his return from Exile, former Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide has a chance to greet his supporters. Whether it was mistake from the current power in place of just having the judicial system to work independently, Aristide took the opportunity to tour Port-au-Prince. It came following a three-hour, closed-door hearing with a Haitian investigative judge.

Aristide was summoned as part of the ongoing murder investigation of the unsolved assassination of famous journalist Jean Léopold Dominique.
